HK’s TVB’s Last One Standing (與敵同行), Incl: Video Preview

I’ve been bored for this few weeks, after complete watching the whole drama series from TVB. I’ve just finished watching TVB’s Moonlight Resonance. The show was excellent. I like the show when during the middle part till the end. There is some scenes that is very touching. Like when “Jo Ba” at the court say if he can ask to marry back his wife. He’ll do it and many more. You need to go and buy yourself the DVD and watch. I bought 2 box it because the whole series was split into 2 boxes.
Now I’m waiting for another series to come out DVD and I’ll buy it to watch. The latest TVB series that coming to the end on the 18th October 2008which is on this Saturday on Astro On Demand 9.30pm. This series portray or Roger Kwok act in a different role which is more challenging compare to the previous he acted on. This time around he plays the bad guy in the show which every move of his has a motive behind it. This new series is called Last One Standing or 與敵同行. This show has 2 lead actor whom they are Roger Kwok and Kevin Cheng. I watched the preview of the series at Astro it look interesting and it can make me to watch the next episode.
I’m not sure which part is the first episode but I remembered that Kevin Cheng received a phone call from the sister that the stepfather try to rape her. Kevin Cheng went to look for the stepfather and a brawl happen. He accidentally use a spanner and hit on the stepfather head. He was afraid and run out from the house. The next day, police when to pick him up at his place and charge him murder of his stepfather. In the court house, Roger Kwok said that he saw Kevin which is his cousin brother rushing out from the house where his stepfather was killed. Kevin was sent to prison and he thinks that Roger his cousin frame him and want to get revenge when he is out from prison. Want to know more? Click here -> More

If I want to recommend this drama series, I would have give it a 3.95-stars out of 5-stars of rating compare to TVB’s Your Class or Mine (尖子攻略). This far more better off then the mentioned. Go get this drama series and you’ll never regret it. Here is some synopsis that I grab from Astro Site.

CHEUNG SING HEI (Cheng Kevin) is accused of murdering his stepfather and he is sent to the prison for 10 years. After being discharged from the prison, HEI decides to take revenge on his best friend and cousin TONG LAP YIN (Kwok Chun On). YIN works as a notary. He is an honest and trust-worthy gentleman who never blames HEI for his short temper and unreasonable accusation. He spends a lot of time to investigate HEI’s case and help him find the real murderer. HEIand YIN used to be best companions but they fall out eventually because of deceit and trickery. What makes the matter worse is – they have fallen in love with the same woman.
HEI loses all his confidence after being sent to the jail unjustly. LEI PUI KA (Mung Yo Yo), the reporter who visits him regularly during her voluntary services, manages to bring hope and joy to him again. Even though KA appreciates HEI’scharacter, she is deeply in love with YIN and she agrees to marry him eventually. However, KA receives some anonymous letters continuously and these letters give her a great shock.
