Nokia N900

Hi there,
This is my third time using my iPhone 3G to write in my blog. First was regarding my Penang trip. Let’s cut the crap and move on what we are going to talk about. When I was browsing or surfing the Internet I bump to Nokia latest edition of N-Series. Nokia just introduce N900 to the consumers but still we’re unable to purchase if yet because is a working progress.

N900 is like a tablet or smartphone running on a new Linux based Maemo 5 OS. It capable of multitasking and comparable with Nokia’s Symbian smartphone. It has lots of connectivty options from Wifi and HSDPA. It comes with ARM Cortex-A8 processor able to compete with iPhone 3GS, Palm Pre and Samsung Omnia HD. It also comes with hardware for graphics acceleration and with 256MB of RAM.

The homescreen can be customize to suit your preference. You’re able to add widgets, shortcuts and applications. It has a 3.5′ inch of WVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It has a 3 row Qwerty slide out keypad and a virtual on screen keyboard.

The web browser is powered by Mozilla technolgy so it able to load flash heavy website. It comes with Adobe Flash 9.4 application. N900 comes with 32GB of storage abs expandable up to 48GB with microSD card. It has GPS with Ovi Maps, FM transmitter, Tv out function, 3.5mm jack, DivX and XviD support. The camera has Carl Zeiss optics with 5 megapixel and capable recording 16:9 video with a resolution of up to 848×480 pixels@25fps.

The Nokia N900 should be available from October this year
