Belated Celebration for My Dear’s Birthday.

May 31, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

Last Friday, which on the 29 of May I celebrated my dear Wendy’s Birthday at Mines Shopping Center and a small present for her. We’ve celebrated our birthday together for awhile because our birthday are just a few days different. I brought her to one of a specialty shop that sells a different type of Ice-cream compare to the others. Well is not Gelato, Baskin Robbins or Haagen Dazs.

This shop has been opened in Mines Shopping Center quite some time but I don’t get the chance to bring her there to try the ice-cream out. This time I take this opportunity to bring her to the shop to treat her this different type of ice-cream. The shop looks very romantic is best for the couple to share their time and have a little talk over there. You can choose to sit in the shop inside or outside the shop facing the Mines River. I will prefer inside because of the design.  Just as a reminder the shop sells two type of ice-cream so don’t expect others flavor and it is self-service.  The two type of ice-cream is Vanila and Yogurt ice-cream but there is a lot of choices of topping you can add in. From fruits to wafers and syrups.

You will have to fill up a simple order ticket and place the order at the cashier with the ticket and they will bring your order to you. The place just accept cash and not credit or debit card. Our Vanilla ice-cream cost us RM11++. We ordered a double scoop vanilla ice-cream with watermelons, honeydews, kiwis, peaches, mangoes and almonds for our ice-cream toppings. I can say that the ice-cream is absolute fabulous. The bottom of the ice-cream is filled with shaved ice. It has set for couple and even for family. There is some sort of smoothies and other tid bits. Will recommend anyone who like to try something new. Price is mid-range or little high for ice-cream depends how you look at it.

Next, we went to Thai Odysseys to check out the latest price for a massage. This is the small or little present that I give to my dear as her birthday present. We went in the shop it gives you very Thai feel and a nice lady greet you “Sawadi Kap”. She attending a customer so we went to sit at the bench to wait for our turn. After 5 minutes of waiting the lady ask us to the front desk and ask whether we have make any reservations. I didn’t make any before that night because I’m afraid I will end up at the another Thai Odysseys. It was fully booked at the free time was at 8.45pm, I saw my dear was so dejected and ask the lady whether there is any earlier slot so we can slot it. She checked and say no but there is a customer booked the time but still haven’t arrive and can’t be contacted so she don’t dare to give us the slot.

So we left our mobile number just in case that the customer can’t make it and we can take the slot. Not till my dear want to give her number the customer call in that he or she unable to come in at the booked time so we can take the slot. Yes!!! I ordered a Half body and foot massage for my dear, as for me I wanted to try out the Thai Massage but afraid of the pain so I opt for the Thai Aromathearpy Massage. Both of us have one hour each. We were ask to change to their sandals and walk up to a bench area to get our feet clean up with body shampoo and rinse with water. Later we were escort to our room to have our massage. It was superb that the massuer do has the strentght to massage me so big size. After an hour we came out and change back our shoes and head back home with all our body relaxed.

Newcastle United 0-1 Aston Villa, Relegated

May 25, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

While I’m writing this my heart is broken and and I’m very down because I got the news from my friend that my all time favorite team in the English Premier League has been relegated to the Championship. Newcastle United loss to Aston Villa 0-1 and with the cruelest nightmare lost by their own people. The goal is an own goal deflected on Damien Duff.

After 16 seasons at top flight and fighting for survivor to earn the last place to be in the Premier League and with just one goal they’re down to the Championship league. The crowd of fans at the stadium all can’t believe after all these years. Newcastle United beaten many top teams such as Manchester United during the reign of Kevin Keegan. Who is going to be blame on this? Alan Shearer? who can’t bring them out from the relegation? Sure NO! is not Alan Shearer. He took over Newcastle that time was in a bad condition but still he try to fight for it. All the fans of Newcastle and Alan Shearer knows that is not his fault but the blame should be on the Owner itself.

If he is not stopping the Messiah of Newcastle and restricting him. Newcastle will be off the relegation. Kevin Keegan has a good history in Newcastle which he bought Alan Shearer for 15million pound and that time is the highest paid player but it payoff well. Kevin Keegan also brought them to the top of the table for a few weeks and beaten Manchester United. During his era Newcastle United was one of feared one compare to Chelsea now. Now the owner pray that Alan Shearer will stay in as the Manager and some senior players such as Michael Owen. The owner need to cut off many player due to the wage bills. I can’t believe that Newcastle United will be playing the next season at Championship and with all the great history of players like Alan Shearer, Peter Beardsley, Les Ferdinand, Paul Gascoigne and Bobby Mitchell.

Dan Brown’s Angels & Demons

May 24, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

Firstly, I would like to Thank everybody who remembered and send me greetings on 23/05 for my Birthday. It really means much to me because it is a day where your families and friends know you well or do they still remember you as a family or even a friend.

I got my first wishes from my dearly dear who wishes me when I came out after having my morning shower. Yup! she just wakeup to wish me. Today, I mean yesterday is 3am in the morning. I need to work so I’ve to get up early. The next wishes was from an old friend of mine back at my school days, and she is “yC”. I realise when I login to my facebook. Next, is my mum send me a text message midnight but too bad lastnight I slept early. She sent to my another number so I missed it. Thanks MUM!!! Muakz!!! Who else? let me see..My dearly God Sister.. “YeeMun”, Thanks!! Really Appreciated very much. I can’t believe you will send me wishes. Then I’ve a wishes from my ex-colleague “HonMing” Thanks!!!. Last but not least is my office brother “Alvin” Thanks!!!. At Home Dad and aunty wishes me too.

Today, I mean yesterday so just pretend I’m writing on the 23/05, I went to Midvalley to watch Dan Brown’s latest creation Angels & Demons. His book has come out a long time ago during the year of “Da Vinci Code”. I really like this book because with the catchy title but when I turn over the back ofo the book only I get to know the story is different from the title itself. I watched the movie at MidValley’s GSC’s Cinema and not to mention the queue is very long and we’re lucky because we ordered our tickets long ago. Too bad is the seating area which I sitted uncomfortable. I need to seat somewhere corner. The show talk about Robert Langdon A Professor in an University that study the symbols of ancient times. He was researching the story behind the Catholic Church and regarding the illumniati.

A Pope mysterly die and the church need to elect a new Pope. The cardinals around the world are required to whole a session to select a new Pope. The story is very interesting compare to the previous “Da Vinci Code” and guess what this should be the prequel of  “Da Vinci Code”. A sciencetist created a new energy that will cause a massive explosion that wipe off the whole Rome. The new energy was stolen by someone and a female scientist need to retrieve back before the clock stroke 11pm. illumniati is an ancient time during 1960s I think. They’re mostly scientist and other pohilosphers and they question the Church why they still hold on to the old rules and they should change.

Later on, 4 prefered Cardinals are been captured and locked up somewhere. This 4 prefered Cardinals are the next in line for the new Pope. The story is very good and I would like to recommend everyone to watch this movie because it make you glue to your seats and always keep you awake by giving new clues to the next. This is show is quite lenghty so advise you get your tummy filled up and lose the extra water before going to watch this movie. I will give this movie 4/5 stars and Two Thumbs UP!

The Lucky Lady is Smilling at ME.

May 16, 2009

Hello My Friends & Families,

I’m glad that the lucky lady is smilling at me if not I’ll not have the mood to write this post so late. Although the time that the post is up is the time I should be start writing. Today, I went to Puchong’s Shabu Shabu Steamboat again because last week I just went there with my colleagues and today is with my dear’s sisters. They’re celebrating one of my dear’s sister and my dear’s birthday.

Skip all the part munching and stupid moment of mine at the restaurant. Did you know that Shabu Shabu at Puchong is moved further down at the back. I think some of you might know. That place always full with cars and is not car park. It is hard to get one car park around 7pm-8pm that hour. The best part opposite Shabu Shabu restaurant it has a new road and shoplots that will be soon open. Currently, if you coming from Giant Puchong and CitiBank at your left, Giant should be on your right hand. Drive all the way up till the end and Shabu Shabu is just on your left and right hand is the new road and shoplots. There is AMPLE parking spaces. BUT!!! DON’T EVER THINK LEAVING OR PARK YOUR CAR THERE !!! The place is so quiet and not much people will go there.

Today, I parked my car there and walk over to Shabu Shabu. After a full stomach walking out from Shabu Shabu and I saw a bunch of people standing at the place I parked my car. I was like..okay.. when I reach to my car Deactivate my car alarm and get in quickly with my dear, start my car and back off as soon as possible. When I almost reach to my car I heard they all are complaining about something then I think is not that bad after all. When there is two more car to reach my car I heard the group of people saying in Cantonese ” My glass broken by someone “. My heart was just drop down to my stomach and feel like want to vomit. ” My car park in the middle nothing wor. The Civic..” WAH!!! when I heard this I was almost faint. Then I overheard that “Civic also nothing”, and I was so relieved. Anything happen to my this wife I’ll go hysteria and crazy. I went to my car and saw the group of people is looking at their car and I quickly walk over my car and see all the windows and windscreens got crack or break.

I don’t believe them say my car nothing I went to all the windows and windscreens and touch. All the cars that break in is Perodua Myvi(s). Is not one but two of the Myvis break in by breaking the left back passenger seat window and open down the seats and ransacked the boot. I’m not sure whether there is anything missing or stolen. If not mistaken there is another Perodua Kelisa also break in. My dear and I think it is because the theif break the window because it won’t sound the alarm and they just climb in half body and pull down the seats. They mostly target those car without “Tails” or hatchback. Dear Readers Please be Caution When You’re There Whether is Day or Night Time. The Best Thing is NOT TO PARK THERE!!! Don’t care whether you can’t find a parking or for awhile. Prevention is BETTER THAN CURE. All Myvi(s)’ owner please becareful wherever you’re.

This is Where the BreakIn Occur

[H]OUSE M.D. – Season 5 Last Episode?

May 11, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

I have been quite some time that I follow the story of House MD after I completed the Season 2 DVD that I bought. Saw him get shot and some tiny bits of Season 3 – 4. As for Season 5 I’m not sure whether I watch any episodes of it. I get to know there is Season 5 because I heard our local satelite TV is broadcasting the latest season. Previously, I heard is Season 4 so I think the latest is Season 5.

Then just know I went to Amazon.com and search for House MD and I found there are opening for Pre-Order for House MD Season 5. Wah!!! I missed out many seasons. I went to a shopping center at KL on Saturday I was busy body went to a DVD shop and saw the boxset of House MD season 4. I was.. “Hm..” Take down the boxset and flip to the back and front and read the details at the back. Then… little devil at my left shoulder telling me.. “Piss.. hey there.. buy it and ask him whether he has the whole season 1 – 4″, and the right shoudler a little angel and tell me “Don’t worry, you can buy it the next time. The DVD won’t run away. Let it complete the new season and only think whether to buy.” Like always.. the angel triumph!!! and I didn’t buy it.

I just went to Fox.com and saw House MD is airing the end or last episode for the Season 5 on Monday 8/7. It will be a minute length longer and it is advise to adjust the DVR to record it. For more further details you can visit the here FOX.com<<–

There is even a new House-ism T-Shirt on sale at the website benefit NAMI, The front part of the T-shirt printed “Normal’s Overrated” and the back is HOUSE MD logo.

I was planning to get one and I hope it shipped here. Is for A Cause…

Penang Trip – Day Three / Last Day.

May 7, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

I just went thru some of the comments that you’d left in my certain posts and I’m sorry to reply you all so late. Saw a lot of nice comments about the post of First Love and other stuffs. Thanks! As for the spams, sorry you have to go. If you like to read my post or blog why not leave me more comments and I was thinking to create a page as my Guest Book for you all to sign and leave your comments.

I wanted to write the day three or the last day in Penang last night but I can’t get my mind working as normal. I was so tired I even get mix up which place I visited first during the Day 2 so bare with me. This is a long story but I’ll keep it short as possible because we didn’t did anything special so I think a few paragraph will finish.

Day Three.

The next morning we need to wake up at 9am and go to one place in Penang so called famous food AGAIN.. I woke up around 8:45am and get myself cleaned up and waited the others and we move out from the room close to 10am. Lucky, my dear when for another “blanket search” to see whether we left something behind. Indeed that I left something behind, I left my Casio G-Shock BAPE Red watch on the bed cover by the blanket. Thank you my dear! Muakz! After we checked out my dear’s sister came over to us and ask us whether we know the road to Jalan Tujuh. I’m not sure what famous food is there. I whipped out my iPhone 3G again and search the location and to my surprise that there is a few road name is Jalan Tujuh, to double confirm the place we when to a nearby petrol station and ask, even the sister that car pooled our car did called her friend and ask for location. She said is located somewhere C.Y road thingy. *Memory loss again*

I on my GPS and found the place and we’re heading the right track. Not long we reached the place and it is a Market plus Hawker Center. I just googled it and guess what “Ho Chak!” been there. OMYG!!! all the time the food we took is recommended by “Ho Chak!” or “Ah Xian”. Darn!!! should find some locals to bring us somewhere better. The place we went WAS CALLED “LEBUH CECIL MARKET” located at 7th Road Market Penang. I was wondering how they find the food they want to eat BUT NO ADDRESSES!!!!! Darn!!!七条路 I went there with a bad stomach because two days foods coming in and nothing coming out.. oooooooooohhhhhhhh…

My dad always told me there is a chinese saying “Fight Poison with Poison” or “以毒攻毒”, I ordered a Curry Mee and a Herbal Tea, as for my dear ordered Loh Mee but end up more like Lam Mee. If you want the exact location try google it and you will find it.

After the breakfast we headed back to Gurney AGAIN! because my dear’s sister still haven’t buy the Dragon Biscuits or Tau Sar Pheanh. Then we headed back to the same place and we found out no stock. p/s: this we’ve inform them. Aih..then the another shop also close on Sunday. End up never buy anything. Then we head down south back Seremban, and on the way we stop by Ipoh Again! to have our lunch or dinner that is something in between. We went to a shop that is the same row with the Ipoh beansprouts chicken. Ordered Hokkien mee, Yee mee, fresh squids, vegetables and beansprouts. One my dear’s sister boyboy treated us “Ham Kai” or salted chicken. It tasted good. I used not to eat after tasting a few pieces it really taste good. After the lunch/dinner we did our last shopping at the shop beside us to buy some Ipoh famous stuffs. Eg: Chicken Biscuits there is thick and thin style so is up to your preferences and pomelo.

After the last minute shopping spree we head back to Seremban.  We took the Penang ferry to cross over the sea to Butterworth. It takes less than half an hour the ferry reaches Butterworth. The trip is really tiring but lucky the way back from Penang to KL is my dear drove and I can rest. Before reaching KL I switch with my dear to be the driver and drove all the way back to my house. During this journey my dear mostly drove and I be the one who yell left… right… straight ahead.. hahaha… Really don’t what to write, I just want to add some photos and videos here for you all see see..

Penang Trip – Day Two

May 4, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

This is the second time I’m writing this because the previous post I unable to upload to my blog so I hope this time works. I’m uploading from my iPhone. It did work. The problem once you upload using one type connection you can’t switch to another and I hope WordPress team can solve this problem. Let’s keep our finger cross that they fix it fast so I can use my 3G service to blog if not I need to login to WordPress.com to blog rather than using the App.

Okay.. continue the next day..

Day Two.

We should wake up at 8am and travel to Penang Hill or Bukit Bendera. My dear try to wake me up but I’m too tired because I slept around 2am+ so she didn’t wake me up the second time. She let me sleep till 12 noon and she wake up and ask me one simple question. “Want to go to Toy Museum?” and my eyes open and I say “Yes”. She found my “G-Spot” hahaha!!!! Get myself clean up and head down to the car park and drove out. Problem is we don’t know the road to Toy Museum so how? I brought out my iPhone 3G and switch on it’s GPS. It takes 1-2 minutes to pin point my location and I enter “Toy Museum” and takes only less than a minute to show location. Press on the directions and it route me to the location. During the drive it did tell us precisely where the turn is but there is certain dark spot where the road has changed a bit.

Before we went to toy museum we went to get ourselves some Penang Biscuits. “Tau Sar Pneah” or 豆沙饼 in Chinese. We went to MacAlister Road.  In my iPhone’s Google Map there is no one tag the location so it is hard to find. I need to type in the shop address. Safari for the address then Map it into GPS and Voila! My all time favourite is Ghee Hiang tau sar pneah although there is other brand out there. You can have a number of choices to choose from. When we reach the branch at MacAlister Road all the biscuits has been SOLD OUT!!! OMYG!!! thought getting a few boxes because this time we’re driving not traveling by plane with a 9kg+ bag. I bought a Sesame Oil for my mum because she said very nice. We quickly drive to another smaller branch and we got us only few boxes. Thank God!

ghee-hiang-dsc1265ghee-hiang-wimg0153

When we reached to toy museum we a giant figure of “Leonardo” from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Predator from it’s movie itself. There is no parking at the area so if anyone want to go there and take a look better go find a parking spot. DON’T PARK AT THE DOUBLE YELLOW LINE !!! because when we were heading to our car we saw a few cops is writing tickets to all the cars behind us. We quickly jump in to our car and start and sped of. Lucky us! Inside the Toy Museum I fell that suddenly I turn to a kid in a BIG CANDY SHOP. How I wish I have one of this museum in my house or just certain toys that I want is more than enough. Not much 80’s Cartoons but mostly is 90’s and above. I took a lot of photos until my Nokia’s E66i battery finish which I’ve fully charged the night before so does my dear. We spend almost one and half hour inside snapping pictures. I need to go there once again with my Sony Camera. I’ll upload the photos soon after I’ve consolidate all for the trip.

penangtoymuseum

After that we head down to Gurney Drive again because it is VERY NEAR, we parked at Gurney Plaza again because last night we parked at the same place but is cheaper last night compare to that morning. We went over there and my dear ordered Shark Fins Soup with Chinese Herbal,Claypot Rice and Fried Oyster. I went to order myself some fried squids, fried prawn meatball and deep fried chicken skins. You should try this out. Not to miss is PORK INTESTINE SATAY! I went to order 10 sticks just for myself. Yummy!!! It like history.. we were the midst of eating suddenly feel raindrop falling down the skies and we quickly eat and rush back to Gurney Plaza and bought a Cake for my dear’s sister birthday celebrations.

Then after that we drive back to apartment because they’re heading to eat seafood which I don’t know where the place. All I know the place was so far out of the city if you’re not a local I don’t think you can find. Even a local I even have doubt on it. The place I just googled and it called “Teluk Kumbar Seafood”,公巴好友海鲜 as for the address try google it yourself. The place quite pack with people and facing the sea so if it is not crowded you can hear the sea rush to shore. That time I was afraid will it be a tsunami? If not tsunami it might flood because it has been raining the past few days at Penanag so we were having our dinner. While waiting for the dishes to arrive you can order some satay to eat. I think the place is fully packed with peoples thanks to Astro Ah Xian introduced the place.

66_big

After the dinner we wanted to head to Gurney plaza AGAIN!!! RedBox Karaoke to celebrate my dear’s sister’s birthday. We were stuck in some housing area because the one shoule lead us out forgotten the way, can’t blame him because he left Butterworth very young age. I whipped out my iPhone again and lucky there is coverage so I can pinpoint our location and travel out to Gurney. Too bad everyone is tired and they didn’t sing much. Around 2am we head back to our apartment and snooze…

Penang Trip – Day One

May 4, 2009

Dear Friends & Families,

You guys must be stun because I change my blog’s theme. I change it once at the anniversary of my blog. It comes to me that the theme that I previous used a little not my taste so I search for something that is simple and easy to use. Well, let’s skp all the blah blah blah and move on what I want to tell you.

I went to Penang on Good Friday which is just last week and I have a post written about my day one trip at Penang unfortunately my iPhone WordPress App got little problem. I’m using the new WordPress App  with 3G connection but I can’t upload my post. Once I finish written my day two trip and I want to publish it, it automatically over write my previous post that is still uploading. I hope the team in WordPress can solve this matter. During the initial login to WordPress.com which my blog is hosting it takes me some time to login so do posting. I hope when I reach back home and use my WiMax to post my Day 2 will be fast.

Okay,

Day One.

If you a friend or families members of mine that has added me into your facebook will know that previous that day I didn’t sleep much. I slept at 4am and I wake up at 5am+. When I wake up I feel that the ground was moving or shaking but really is because I don’t have enough sleep so I feel like that. Even when I was walking to the toilet and brushing my teeth, I was moving sideways from left to right and right to left.  This trip was to accompany my dear to join with her “Sisters” trip. I didn’t;t intend to join them but after a few thoughts and some “yeh…” and I say “Yes”. the trip all the way up was pain in the arse. Why? because we were traveling from Seremban to Penang. It was from the SOUTH to the NORTH of Peninsular Malaysia. It takes us more than 4 hours to reach. On the way we did stop at Sungai Buloh Rest Area, we saw a lot Porches parked there and I get to know that they’re having a convoy. There is even MINI Coopers and some Big Bike not those Harley type. We intended to take KFC as breakfast but we waited for a long time and last we didn’t eat and we shoot all the way up to Ipoh.

At Ipoh,

We drop by to the famous restaurant to eat “Yah Choy Kai”, a beansprouts plus steam chicken (芽菜鸡). We did snap some photos but not my camera, Oh Ya! I don’t have a camera. I just have a Camera Phone. Blek! Let me grab some photos and posted here.  After taking lunch at Ipoh another few more hours trip to reach Penang. All the way what happen don’t ask me. Why? I was sleeping during the whole journey. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

At Penang,

assamlaksa We spend some time searching for the apartment that we’re going to stay and at last after an hour I think in searching we finally reach our destination. After we place our lugage in our room and rest awhile we head to Penang’s Kek Lok Si Temple (极乐寺) or they call it as Temple of Supreme Bliss. I got it from Wikipedia. Hahaha! I got snap a pciture with my Nokia E66i which I like it so much at the middle of Kek Lok Si, that I will post in my second day or maybe just a photo album. Still thinking about it. Before we walk up to Kek Lok Si we stop by at one of the so called famous “Asam Laksa” that my dear’s sisters said. I don’t like Asam Laksa so I went beside to tarpau “Fried Kuey Teow”. It taste Fabulous!!! after tasting other in the few days in Penang. Remember the stall owner is an uncle and he is in the same area with the Asam Laksa, don’t get it wrong. If you intend to park your car please drive inner to Kek Lok Si, because I get to know is cheaper compare to the outside. pasar-air-itam-stall

assamlaksa_vendor

Guess What? I’ve BEEN CHEATED!!! they told me I need to walk all the way up but when I reached to the top I saw some cars parked outside at the top area!!! DARN YOU!!!! At that time I can feel my heart beats pump like never before. “Doctor says, Do more Exercise but not too the extreme where you seldom exercise”.

After coming down, I was Thank GOD I’m still ALIVE!!! After that we head to Gurney Drive. Everyone should know when you visit Penang you must stop by Gurney Drive where many local foods you can have and a nice sea view. I’ll recommend you to be there around 5pm-6pm, later that time the place will be fill with peoples. One reminder to all of you, beware of pickpockets. One of my dear favourites is Sharkfin soup with Chinese herbal and Prawn Noodle, as for me I prefer fried stuff such as fried squids to chickens and meatballs. That day I found one that I will more than twice which is “Pork Satay” although I know currently everyone is scared to eat pork but don’t worry, local pork and cooked well won’t be a problem. Not the pork satay that drives me crazy is the “Pork Intestine Satay” that drives me crazy. Don’t think about dirty and weird. You will like it. I can say that. Like what I like to says “Never Try Never Know, but Once Try Every time You Want”. I got snap some photos of the stall at the satays and I will upload it soon.

After that we head to Batu Ferrighi, which I think because before we left Gurney Drive they said they want to go there. Like what I do best when I’m not driving.. “SLEEP” when I reach there it is a long stretch of Pasar Malam type and stuff you can buy is like getting it in Kuala Lumpur or KL’s Petaling Streets.  I didn’t buy anything because I was not in the mood of shopping because I’m tired and I want to get back to my apartment to sleep. We walked awhile and we wanted to get back to our apartment and the problem is the one WHO knew the road back went for massage. DAMN! what can I do? One option is to wait for next 1 hour or take the risk to find the way home. Suddenly, my brain blink like a bulb over my head. I have an iPhone 3G.. why not take this chance to try out the GPS system. Guess what, It works!!!! Yahoo!!! I’m back to my apartment!!! never miss a junction. I hope Google can update our local map often because some road is different and sometime it will be confusing. After using the GPS system combine with Google’s Map I can say that iPhone 3G is the RIGHT phone and iPod for me.
