iPhone 3G Finally Arrive at our shore..

Great News! Finally Apple’s iPhone 3G arrive at our Malaysia shores..brought in by our well-known local telco Maxis. Today, the whole morning I was waiting and keep refreshing the website for both Apple Malaysia and Maxis Malaysia. Not till just now I saw the iPhone 3G photo in the main page of Maxis website. Currently we’re unable to access Apple Malaysia Store due to some maintenance. I think they’re updating the iPhone category to our store.
By tonight or tomorrow morning I think both of the site will have updated their website and local newspaper will have a big print out that iPhone 3G finally arrive to Malaysia. I’m still not sure whether iPhone 3G Malaysia is locked to one operator or operator free. Still uncertain now. Just hope Apple Malaysia store start selling iPhone 3G without any Maxis Contract INCLUDED. Maxis has come up 2 new plan for iPhone 3G called i-ValuePlans from 12months-24months. Normal Value Plus plan included but monthly charges start at RM80.

Maxis bringing iPhone 3G to Malaysia?

Hello there, How are you all doing? I got something to share with you. Rumors has it Maxis Telco Malaysia has reach an agreement with Apple to bring iPhone 3G to Malaysia. When asked the both party they didn’t make any comments. Rumors said that Maxis is going to announce it tomorrow but currently both of their website didn’t mention anything regarding iPhone 3G.
Some said that the iPhone 3G will tie down with Maxis 2 years contract with Value150 plan. How much will the phone cost is still in a dilemma. RM150 x 24months = RM3600. Worth it or not up to you to weight.
