Dear Friends & Families,

ist2_6149793-happy-new-year-2009

It is still to the end of the year of 2008 and we are approaching to the year of 2009. Anyone is going out to town to celebrate the arriving of the year 2009 please be extra careful when you’re returning to get your car, bike or home. There is a lot of “sat kai” these days. Many Mat Rempits terrorizing the streets and especially this kind of celebrations.

I got some friends who got robbed after the Christmas party when they’re going to get thier car. Lucky, nothing much happen. I hope the police authority look into this matter seriously and please extra cautions when traveling back home. For the year of 2009 I’m here to wish everyone for peace in life, economy rise back and good health!

My Lost Ancestor? Ip Man or 葉問 or 叶问

December 20, 2008

Dear Friends & Families,

Last night, I went to Jusco balakong to catch a movie with my beloved. It has been some time that both of us go out for a date. Hehehe.. Lucky that she didn’t grumble or nag me about it. Went to TGV and bought us a couple seat to watch Ip Man. The latest action flick from Donnie Yen about a martial art master life during the Sino Japanese Occupation at China.

This latest movie that Donnie Yen act as the well known chinese martial art master of “Wing Chun” 詠春 known as Ip Man or 葉問 or 叶问. Now you

know why I called him as my lost ancestor? Hahaha.. We have the same surname or family name. How I wish he is my great uncle so I can learn a few moves and can share some of his glory days with you all. I’ve mistaken that he is the one who created the “Wing Chung” 詠春 but his master Chan Wah-Shun. He is the last pupil and teaches Wing Chung 詠春 openly.

So let skip the history and back to the movie. The movie itself name after he himself “Ip Man”. The show started that at China at Foshan there a street where all Martial Art master gather together and open there own martial art center beside each other. A newly opened martial art center’s sifu or master went to Ip Man’s mansion or house and invite Ip Man to a fight in private without letting anyone outside from the house to know who is the winner.

There is many laughters when everyone watching the beginning of the movie where Ip Man invited the another master for a dinner and drink before getting into business. Never thought that Donnie Yen can act something that is funny because previous few movies that he acted mostly just fight and action and less funny moments. When the movie moving to the middle part, more actions and fightings that we can see. Want to know more of the movie? Go get yourself ticket from your local cinema and watch this latest movie from Donnie Yen.

I’ll recommend this movies to everyone that who like action and martial arts. I would like to remind everyone of you that this movie has been rated 18SG in Malaysia and other countries I think will be Violence category. If this movie come out Blu-ray or DVD, I recommend to get one with the uncut’s or Director’s cut. You can’t get to watch alot of bones breaking in the cinema. For more info you can point you borrowers to the link below.

Yip Man

Oh ya.. forget something like to share with you that a quote from Ip Man he himself. “徒弟選擇一個好師傅, 固然困難, 但師傅選擇一個好徒弟, 更加困難” it is difficult for a student to pick a good teacher, but it is more difficult for a teacher to pick a good student. Not to mention that The Legend.. Bruce Lee is one of his bright pupil.

p/s: “Marriage may be made in heaven, but the maintenance must be done on earth.” “Love is not sweet talks and flowers, but love is forgiving and compromising.” “Marriage is like a fine wine, as it ages it just gets better. Look at all the good times and leave behind the bad, for there are more wonders you will find in each, as time passes by.”

“The easiest part of marriage is falling in love and walking down the aisle. The most difficult part of marriage is 10 years later when the problems have ensued and issues have come about and you still find love. Marriage is not about the beginning, marriage is about the process and still being able to love through all things.”

From your brother to both of you: “Marriage is not building a sand castle on a beach together but building a strong relationship and moving forward another step to a new life. Don’t be afraid or back down from the problems that you encounter in your new life but both of you must love, trust, care and patience and accept each others for he or she is different.”
