My Nokia E66i !!!

October 3, 2008

Dear Friends & Families,

Guess what! I got a Nokia E66i Grey Steel as my present… My beloved girl bought this phone for me as a present for our anniversary. We’ve been for how many years? A little guess.. :) Almost 3 years.. Like what I’ve promised her that every year I’ll bring her for a trip. This year will be heading to Penang.

I’ve been thinking a lot for what phone that I should buy to replace my old faithful Nokia N-Gage QD. It has been with me for almost 4 years ++. Is time for it to retired but don’t worry I still use it as my second phone. Hehe.. don’t my QD.. I didn’t know that my beloved will get me a phone as a present but I can feel a bit that she might get me a phone by the way the few days she is acting. I was back late because there is a farewell party for one of my colleague. My beloved return home early and get the phone wrap with some heart loge wrappers and one nice and cutie card..I’ll load some photos here for you all to look.. She did wrote a lot.. every words I read really touches my heart. I won’t disclose what she wrote to me to you all.. hahahaha… ;)

I took the card and read.. and she ask me to unwrap the present.. I took my time to unwrap it and when I pull out the box from the wrapper I saw… Nokia E66i… Muakz!!! :) She told me is just a box but something different in it. When I opened the box and I saw the phone! Yeh! after few months of thinking at last my beloved helped me to make up my mind to get E66i as my new phone. I love her so much… you know why? because she know I like to store a lot of mp3s and movies in my phone so she ask the salesgirl to upgrade the memory card from 2GB to 4GB. Wahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! Muakz muakz!!! Started using the phone already. It took me a whole night to transfer my contacts from QD to E66i, too bad I unable to transfer the SMSes that my beloved sent to me… huhuhuhu :(

There is a few things I would like to say about this phone is the OS. I think is a big different compare to the QD I use before. I need to unlearn what I learned. I few disgruntled with file managements. Why? because lastime my QD I can just slot in the memory card into the card reader and start create some folders and transfer the respective files into the  folders and they can display orderly into the folder. I can’t do this on my new E66i. I need to create all the folders first then only I connect my new E66i using USB cable to my PC and transfer files. Problem is that all the files will show all at once in the phone but not in the folders I created and worst I can’t see those folders. Next, is the music player. Some of my mp3s unable to load the album cover even though I saw it while playing thru my winamp player on my PC but not my E66i so I need to manually add the album art. So tiring.. then.. playlist created using winamp and windows media player unable to load so I need to create one using the phone software itself by selecting one by one which song I want to put into my list.

Well.. although this is some minor problem.. and is easily fixed.I want to say a BIG THANK YOU MY BELOVED WENDY LEE for this NICE PRESENT and CARD!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! MUAKZ!!! MUAKZ!!! MUAKZ!!!
