When I went back and check the status of my blog, I get to knew that my blog got a lot “Hits” a day from the review category compare to my ghost and my daily life. I think I don’t have any interesting life at all. 
So I was thinking to write more of reviews, whether is food 
, technology or places. This time around I would like to share with you regarding the new firmware update or upgrade for Apple’s IPhone and IPod Touch. This firmware update is 2.0 series. It has lots of updates for securities to software for the EDGE version IPhone and IPod touch. After the January Update from Apple, they introduce this new firmware update for FREE! for EDGE IPhone users BUT IPod Touch user need to pay a minimal fee for this update.
It was a sad news for me because I was thinking to get myself a brand new IPod Touch 32GB to replace my current old faithful 1st Generation of IPod Shuffle. IPod touch users had spend USD$9.99 when the January update launch for download. This time around to upgrade the firmware from 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 to 2.0 we need to fork out another USD$9.95. Come ON Steve! We’ve fork out previously USD$9.99, now you still need us to fork out another USD9.95. It seems illogical. Steve should charge a little lower for the previously upgraded users, eg: USD$4.99 or USD$5.99 .
They call this new firmware update as “IPhone 2.0 Sofware Updates”. In this new update, it packaged a few new apps for the IPod Touch Users and EDGE IPhone users. 
The most common apps people are mentioning about is “Apps Store”. Apps store provide users to download new software from Apple’s Store and install right away into our IPhone or IPod. We can even download it to our computer first then sync it with iTunes. Next, is “Push Email with Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync”. We can download and browse our company/business/corporate mails using IPhone or IPod. It even included Email, contacts, and calendar events be pushed instantly to our iPod touch. There is even an update on the keyboard where we can now write Chinese 
characters and other foreign language updates.
Updates of software included the “Contacts”, where it simply the search of a contact thru a search column. Then we can have multiple calendar for work, home and more with just manage with a touch. Included Scienctif calculator, improved mails in managing it and even viewing attachments. This firmware update also include support of Apple’s latest service to replace “.Mac” that is “MobileMe”. This new service is where it keeps all our important information updated to all our devices. This service is pushing new changes to a cloud and disperse the new changes to all our devices. That’s not all for Apple’s 2.0 software updates. It also include January 2008 update into it. Google Maps, Mail, Weather, Web Clips, a customizable Home screen, and more.
