30/01/2010 – One Utama CNY photoshoot.

Dear Families & Friends,

My earlier post I post some of the pictures that I taken from KLCC with my new toy. Chinese New Year is just right at the corner and many decorations have put up to usher 2010 Chinese New Year. This year is the year of Tiger. Many shopping centers decorated their store something related to Tiger.

I went to One Utama at Damansara with my god brother for another photoshoot. This time is Chinese New Year or CNY theme. Got our babies ready and we went to Sakae Sushi to have our brunch. After our brunch we went our way to start our photoshoot session. Most of the photos I’ve taken is indoor so not much different to compare with others.

During that day there is many events happen. There was lion dance, 988 roadshow and Hyundai roadshow. Just to name a few. I didn’t get the oppurtunity to snap some pictures of the lion dance because we were watching “Legion” at GSC. I got my snapping fingers to snap some photos of other roadshows held there.

Would like to inform you all upront that all the photos has been resized and it might not be as pretty or beautiful as the original. Wait till I get my hands of a online photo album which is unlimited then I share it with you guys. If you like some of the photos kindly give some comments. Thanks!

17/01/2010 – KLCC Photoshoot Session

Dear Friends & Families,

From my previous post that you’ll have knew that I got a brand new hobby and get the gadget also. Last post, I posted I bought Canon 450D. I brought over my baby and my wife to KLCC, Petronas Twin Tower and KLCC garden for photoshoot.

This photoshoot session is with my god brother. He brought his baby also, a Nikon D60. Both of us have our views in certain things so some photos might be the same but in different angle only. Here I would like to share one or two photos that I took that day. On that before we start our photoshoot we went to Burger Kings to have our lunch. Then we went on our way to start shooting.

Apple’s Special Event January 2010

Do you know that I have been waiting for Apple to announce it’s latest gadjet this whole month. If Apple still didn’t announce their new gadget I think my neck will as long as a giraffe. I always log in to Apple.com website to see when they going announce their first, year 2010 WorldWide Developers’ Conference.

I have been waiting for Apple to announce their next iPhone to replace iPhone 3GS until I forget they have something in mind for a long time in rumors speculating in the Internet and newspapers. This year January 2010, CEO of Apple’s Steve Jobs announce the company designed and produced something for mobile users. Apple has revolutionize many products from iPods to iPhone. Both of the products from Apple is built to be mobile same goes to their Macbook.  Steve Jobs mentioned that they built something in between iPhone and Macbook. Other company produce something between this two category is a Internet Notebook or we knew it as Netbook.

As what Steve Jobs mentioned in the WWDC Jan 2010, Netbook is a shrink down from a Notebook. Is not just the size but internal parts and worst the performance. Apple now built something that is better compare to Netbook in the market. It doesn’t compromise the performance at all and it is FULLY MOBILE. Apple or Steve Jobs introduced us… Apple Latest Technology that has been rumor speculating in the media. Apple’s iPad !!! Is like a blow-up iPhone/iPod Touch. Apple didn’t shrink the portable iPhone/iPod but the MacBook in size and weight but with the iPhone 3GS performance. You should not compare iPad to Macbook but to iPod Touch.

iPad is our most advance technology in a magical & revolutionary device at an unbeatable price. That was the quote got from Apple.com/iPad . What is most notable features are large multi-touch screen that work in any different orientations like the iPhone’s amd it comes with LED-Backlit IPS display.  The screen also covered with Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. The thing you will notice is iPad is thin and light at 1.5 pounds and 0.5′ thin with 9.7′ screen diagonally. The back is slight curve like the iPhone 3G/3G so easy and comfortable to hold at anyway. The battery can last 10hours surfing the Internet using Wi-Fi, listening to music or watching movies because it uses lithium-polymer for Macbook to iPad.

iPad there is 2 model one is wireless uses 802.11n standards and it also comes with bluetooth 2.1 EDR. It able you to connect wireless headphones and keyboard. The second model is a 3G model plus wireless 802.11n and both shipping to the store in different time. The 3G model has a fast 7.2Mbps of data speed.  If I’m not mistaken you’re unable to use iPad to make calls. iPad uses no other than their own Apple chip in their new gadget. The new chip Apple called it A4. iPad also comes in three storage size which are 16GB. 32GB and 64GB. iPad also include 30pin connector so it can use Apple wireless keyboard and sync using a dock. There is a built in speaker, microphone and a3.5mm  headphone jack.

iPad share the same Appstore like the iPhone and iPod Touch. Apps that downloaded to iPhone will be able to use in iPad. As we knew iPhone screen is small so when it move the apps to iPad the apps will display the same size what you see in iPhone. iPad comes with a function that enable certain apps to enlarge or full screen it. Is a nice catch here..Now developers able to download iPad SDK at Apple.com . The most usable application for Mac is here for iPad. The designers, engineers and software developers brought iWork from Mac to iPad. Now iPad users able to do  word processing, presentations and spreadsheets using Keynote, Pages, and Numbers in iWork. The catch of it is you need to purchase each of it in App store. iPad also comes with digital compass and Maps to use with Wi-Fi or with 3G.

I found a new hobby..

I’ve found a new hobby. Now I’m into photography but I’m still in learning stage and having fun with snapping some nice photos. If you’re into this hobby and you don’t has the gears will be not into it at all. That is why I have a thought of changing my blog to photo blog. After awhile of consideration I think I need to skip it because I like to write crap and I don’t know how many people is reading my blog at all. I hope those who frequently back here will keep supporting me like what you’ve did.

I wanted to buy a camera for myself a long time before. My first camera was Konica film camera. The size was like a smaller type of brick. I got it when I was 12 years old. Bought it with my pocket money. I like to use the camera to snap things to candid shots. If I’ve the time will upload some photos that I use the camera to snap. After the camera revolution, less film camera is produce and more digital camera produce and marketed to consumers. From a 3mp camera launch I have been longing for one till now more than 12mp+ but I don’t have one for my own.

Not till few weeks back I went over to Lowyat Plaza to get myself a DSLR.  When I was young I was influence by my cousin who is staying with me that time owned a film SLR and lots of cameras and accessories. I’ve gone through all the website review, forum discussion and on-hands test, I make up my mind to get myself a Nikon D3000 or D5000. With this two model in my mind I went to Lowyat Plaza to scout around for the best offers. Last, I found a shop that offered me a good package for Nikon D5000 but the salesperson recommended to go for Canon 450D. Test around with both of them and found out both almost has the same functions. After thinking and playing around two cameras, I made up my mind to buy Canon 450D… what a waste of time walking around asking Nikon offers and reading all the reviews but end up getting Canon.

Bought the Canon 450D brand new for RM2000++. It offered me a Canon Bag, Tripod, 8GB SDHC, Hoya CPL Filter and Canon 450D kit. The kit comes with 18-55mm EF-S IS lens. I have some sample photos of the camera that got from the Internet and not from my own Canon 450D. The quality builds and photos comparable with Nikon D5000. Well, I’m saving up some money to get myself another lens. That’s all from me now.. will post some photos taken with my Canon 450D soon..

Ho! HoHo!! Merry Christmas!

Dear Friends & Families,

Would like take a time off from writing other things and wish everyone is reading this “A Merry Christmas to YOU!”. Yes.. I mean it to everyone who is or who is not celebrating Christmas. Another Christmas.. time does fly fast. Look back all those years back where I have my Christmas party at home.

When you’re getting older in age you tends to be with your family during these festive seasons. I like to spend Christmas at home with my family because we have this feast every year and putting up the Christmas tree and with all the decorations. My dad just baptized as a Christian not long ago so this past years my dad is really celebrating Christmas. Haha.. How about me? well I still keep my options open. I do still have the Christmas spirit in me.

This year Christmas I have something to share with all of you. Is not to love each others even though the one you hate becuase that I mention last Christmas. I think.. hahaha.. getting old these days, kind of memory loss. This year of Christmas I would talk about Sacrifice. This light up my mind and I remember the scene from the movie and book or bible that I read. This part really touches me so I would like to share this with you all. I like the part where Jesus Christ went to pray in the garden of Gethsemane. Jesus told his disciple to sit where there are and he went into the forest to pray . He brought Peter, James and John with him and told them ” Pray that you will not fall into temptation”.  He went deep into the garden, and He began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then, He said to them, “My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here and watch with Me.”

Going a little farther he knelt down and pray “Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.” “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Having prayed thus, Jesus Christ returned to the three disciples and found them sleeping. He said to them, “So you could not watch with me one hour? Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.” Again, for the second time, He went away and prayed. And again He came and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy, and they did not know what to answer Him.

So, leaving them again, He went away and prayed for the third time saying the same words. And there appeared to Him an angel from Heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like great drops of blood falling from His brow to the ground. Do you know why Jesus Christ pray for his father? He prayed to keep all the suffering that He is going to bare later on. He witnessed all the suffering that he has to go thru. All the suffering that he going to go thru is not for his sins nor his father but is OURS!

Think again.. all the sacrifice that your parents has made to you. They don’t need to carry all the wrong doings that you done to them. They didn’t want it but because you are their children. They will sacrifice anything to love you just like God and Jesus Christ sacrifice for us. God sacrifice his only beloved son and Jesus Christ sacrifice himself for all the sins we did.

Here I would like to WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Biblical Tattoos

Dear Friends & Families,

I was planning to get myself a tattoo soon on my back or at my arm but is not that soon. I was into more biblical tattoos such as Rosary, Angels and more to mention. My personal favourite is War in Heaven. Where you get to see the Angels war with the Devils. Not much picture you can find in the Internet but I found one that I would like it to tattooed at my back but some modification need to be made first.

There is some females angels that is baring all so I need it to change to male angels with Roman soldier attire then a friend of mine suggest less devils in the picture. I would like to have a guardian angel at my back if I can’t have the war in heaven on my back. The guardian angel must spread is wings with God’s light shinning behind him. I can’t wait to have a storyline of angels on my body so I can tell stories to my kids.

Still Awake..

Dear Friends & Families,

Guess what! I’m still awake.. I no this is not a surprise that seeing my post or blog updated this wee hours. Well, I wanted to get some sleep and suddenly feel like want to write something up but can’t find a topic to write. Really confuse here.

Hm.. maybe get myself to sleep and wake up tomorrow morning and go to work. What a LIFE !!! Maybe I’ve not been to a week holiday or break this year. This year is quite busy for preparing my big day for next year. Painted my house but not all so there are lots of works to be done.

Early last week my car broke down and Semenyih after drop my mum at my aunt’s place. First diagnose is the crankshaft pulley giving problem after getting a second hand one back, and one to fit it back then only know the damn screw broke half inside. AHHHHHhhhhh……. How can this happen on me. The mechanic told me the cheapest way to do is to change the whole engine. OMYG!!! A couple of thousands? no way.. wedding is on next year..oh..shit..

That was on my mind..called up my brother to toll it back and the same suggestion that the previous mechanic told me. Change Engine… If I have the $$$ I will have go for B16a DOHC VTEC or B18C DOHC VTEC or H22A DOHC VTEC. BUT!!! I don’t have the $$$ then ask my brother to help out to see whether he able to get the half of broken screw out. He managed to get it out the next day and drove to pick me up.. I was so relieved that I don’t need to spend a few thousands. On the phone he told me have to change the engine and my mind was..blank..he tricked me.. Geramnya…

Koi Tropika WHERE??

Dear Friends & Families,

I can’t believe it that in my whole life that I think it will happen but in reality it will happen once. The place I’m staying is out of ELECTRICITY!!!!

I thought this will only happen on under develop country but why us? I thought we have the 2nd best even not the best How can we reach our vision 2020 if this kind of matter still presist.

Who should I call to regarding my problem? Should it be TNB? I can’t because the other places is bright and shine except the few blocks that I’m staying is pitch black. Koi Tropika management? I think someone must answer my question.

Damn piss off current situation. Why? Think you’re living 20+ floor of condo or apartment and suddenly electricity cut off. You can’t get in thru the guard house because the door is automated. You have to wait around 30min to manually open the gate.

After this you park your car at your parking lot and while you want to get in to the lift there is a “AUTO” gate. Damn it! Wait the backup power up then you tag in. Next the most scary part is the lift. Remember when the power is off all electric items are running on backup power and it won’t last long.

While you getting in the lift you’ll pray hard that the backup power can last you to get you to your floor. If not you will stuck inside the lift. This where the lift is working. How about the lift is not working and you need to walk up or climb up the flight of stairs to your unit.

When you at your floor you also need to becareful because there is not much light because all those light is on emergency use. Haih… This is all the things you need to be aware “When you on the way back to your unit” do you ever think how about getting down to get your car and go to work????

Where Got Ghost? 吓到笑

Hi AH Owners,

I got the first thread in here. Hahaha! yesterday went to TGV to catch Jack Neo latest Hor-Medy movie in the big screen. His latest movie is “Where got ghost?” or 吓到笑. The movie is a combination of horror and comedy, the movie also made up of three short stories which is “Roadside got ghost”, “Forest got ghost”, & “House got ghost”. A MUST WATCH MOVIE!!

The movie started with “Roadside got ghost”, the story about three swindler by cheating the locals by offering prayers for their deceased family members. Be prepare for the horror at the end..
*Swindlers Cai, Fu and Shou have a new scam – using a hotline to make random calls to people, promising them fortune. Those who win the lottery are required to pay commission to Cai or be scared into submission. One day, Cai receives a phone call. The caller calls Cai deploying the same hotline trick. Believing it is a copycat of his scam, Cai naturally disregards the call, but goes ahead and tries his luck with the given number anyway. To his surprise, he wins. Mysterious happenings ensue…*

Next, is “Forrest got ghost”. a group of people is recalled back for army training in Singapore. This training exercise is Forrest Exercise and they have split into 2 people in a group and they need to navigate thru the jungle using the map they provided and the “Enciks” reminded them “NOT TO TAKE SHORTCUTS”. Got one scene is very suspense..

*Nan and Lei return for army reservists’ training. They learn that the place they will be sent to is the widely known ‘haunted hill’, so they take the shortcut. Suddenly, the ‘haunted hill’ seems to come alive – tombstones, red dress spirit and other strange sightings. Then it rains. Nan and Lei seek refuge at Yin Yin’s house, a girl they just met. Little do they know their road to hell has been cut short…*

The last short movie is “House got ghost”, it is the continuation of the Jack Neo previous movie “Money Not Enough 2″. After their mother has passed away for a year and they blame their mother don’t blessed them with fortunes like one of his friends. One scene also scare the hell out of me also..

*It is the Lunar 7th Month, weird sightings happen at home, children can only think it is the late mother’s doings. The truth slowly surfaces as they begin their road trip, only this time it seems to be more than what they bargained for…*

Four years..is not a short journey..

Dear Friends & Families,

I would like to share some good and happy news with all you. It has been four years with my newly registered wife. Hahahaha! lastime was my dear or soon to be wife but now is different because we just registered and now we’re officially Mr. & Mrs. Yap.

On 10/10/2009 we celebrated our 4th year we’ve been together. Although some of you might think is a short journey but it also a long journey also. In this four years we have ups and downs time. In during though time we compromise each other to walk thru it. When we have a nice time we will celebrated together in a joyful manner. In a relationship sometime me need to learn to forgive and forget. If you can learn this two, your relationship will have 50% smooth sailing.

Having two people in different background coming together is not easy. With two of us the way bringing up is different sometime we don’t see eye to eye in some matters but we still fall back one step to compromise it. This is one thing I like it so much. We will try not to bring all the bad things home which we have agreed it earlier but all the joyful things. I hope our love will always grow and mature every year. I love you!
